We're in NE Washington, DC, on the Brookland Arts Walk next to Catholic University and the Brookland Metro Station. We hold “office hours” on Saturdays from 10am-3pm, along side the Monroe Street Farmer’s Market. Have a question about upcycling? Want some advice about sewing machines? Then please stop by to chat.

AMEND+ADAPT

The AMEND+ADAPT Sewing Studio strive to be a hub for upcycling, exploring innovative yet practical ways to use materials that might otherwise go to landfill.

We offer:

  • Sewing Studio Access: Create, repair and customize in a fully equipped workspace.
  • Upcycled & Handcrafted Goods: Shop unique, sustainably crafted products and gifts ideas.
  • Group Classes: Learn skills in a fun, welcoming community setting.
  • One-on-One Instruction: Personalized coaching for beginners to advanced sewists.
